The phantom was scanned at 16 clinics using each clinic's thoracic protocol. This data was obtained using a phantom designed specifically for texture analysis. Researchers studying radiomics will be able calculate features using their own software and evaluate the features for robustness across a variety of scanners. CT DICOM, then IBEX-format contours were generated.
